6:35 pm	Misc. It's been a programming free weekend so far. That sucks because I know I'll be tempted to code my stuff at work this week. Got Andrew's laptop together. I need to track down a bunch of sailing, navigation and other free software at download.com. Don't know how I'll be able to send it to him - perhaps he should sail across to Galveston. Installing Mac OS X 10.1 on Oberon (got to refer to the Macs by network name now that I have more than one G4). Installing over my 10.0.4 partition in the hopes it might work. Don't care if it causes problems - I have nothing to lose on my Oberon's OSX partition really. Installing seems to have hung. Do I dare a reboot? Open Scenegraph looks really interesting. Might make putting together a 3D game very simple. And the API looks (at first glance) pretty clean. Nice that it uses namespaces and STL. Hope it uses exceptions too. Think I've fixed the problem I was getting with Cobweb (the G4 laptop) and the PocketDrive firewire HD. OS9.1 would bitch at me when I woke the laptop up saying that the PocketDrive data is damaged. Disk First Aid did it's wonder. Let's see if it comes back. Rebooting the 10.1 install - it seems to have hung. Current Mood: hopeful (1 Comment |Comment on this)
12:51 am	Dev / OpenPlay / Status Report Not been doing much OpenPlay coding this weekend so far. Prefer to just relax. But i will be fixing the MSL library situation and then fixing the headers (esp. the silly prefix file situation) and then finally giving it a decent debugging library (maybe Ian Ollman's). Or at least that's the plan. Still only 3 or so ppl using OpenPlay CVS. Not encouraging. And the mailing list has slowed down again. I'll kick in my changes and hopefully get an "official" release going. Oh and the "schwa" in livejournal.com has let his account go dormant. Lazy bugger.
